Things I Have Cried About While Pregnant

I'm terribly sorry I didn't get out a blog post last week, but just as a quick update: everything is going "disgustingly normal" according to my OB-GYN, I'm tired all the time and the baby has taken to placing her feet underneath my ribcage, where I know they definitely DO NOT belong. Two more months left!

So I don't know if all of you have seen that Facebook post going around where a husband has written down a list of things that his wife cries about, and it's cute and kind of funny ("She remembered dogs exist") or those listicles of "Reasons My Toddler Is Crying," but this is continuing in the same gist and feelings. I cry basically always even when I'm not pregnant, so this should be fun.

Note: I also had my husband look at this list to see if I'd forgotten something I'd cried over, and he got into it and even wrote down some comments about them, which I will be including.

Without further ado: Things I Have Cried About While Pregnant

1) British imperialism

2) Morning sickness
  • (Husband comment: So much vomit.)
3) We have no money

4) It was hot

5) I sat in a rocking chair

  • (Husband comment: imitating me, "I LOVE THIS CHAIR BUT BABY")

6) I woke up hungry at 3 in the morning

  • (Husband comment: I brought you a banana and water and you felt better. I did not.)

7) I was doing dishes with hot water

  • (Husband comment: It didn't help that it was also 90 degrees outside.)

8) Hamilton (featuring: Dear Theodosia, Eliza Hamilton Deserved Better, and Why Did Philip Have To Die)

9) I left my husband to go on a trip

  • (Husband comment: you mean, "I'm going on a trip soon and I already miss you")

10) While on the trip, basically anytime I got overtired and remembered Isaiah wasn't with me

11) I came back from my trip and finally saw my husband

12) The baby wouldn't stop kicking me

  • (Husband comment: OR YOUR HUSBAND)
